BIONIC AUGMENTED RUNNING SHOES
by the Natural Motion and Biomechanics
We tried to integrate our material products like technical fabrics, functional webbing trimmings, and composite sheets into a bionic and futuristic footwear design with the validated concept of natural motion from human beings and biomechanics. The shoe concept could be a symbol to integrate aesthetics, performance, and sustainability to inspire the next generation of footwear design.
ENGINEERED
by DNA and Genome Concept
Just like the DNA molecule and genome, different gene combinations could create diverse creatures. We consider the material as the gene and extend the functions of each material to the final product: the breathability of the webbing strap, the adjustability of the touch fastener, the rigidity of the shank, and the resilience of the foam strike the coordination.
UPPER FABRIC AND TRIMMING TEXTILES
Utilized over 90% recycled PET from waste bottles.
FOOT-ADAPTIVE FIT SYSTEM
Equipmented by hook and loop fastener, drawcord, and webbing for easy/wide range of adjustment and dynamic fit.
BIONIC VENTILATION GILL STRAP
Double-layered mesh can be dynamically opened and stretched to drain airflow.
DNA DOUBLE HELIX FLEXIBLE SHANKMade from PP which is lighter than carbon fiber and can be disassembled and recyclable
HIGH-RESILIENCE SUPERCRITICAL FOAM
Made of TPEE physical foaming which can be recycled.
HIGH-ABRASION OUTSOLEMade of TPEE which can be recycled.

Bionic Ventilation Gill Strap enhances breathability through the structural double-layered mesh that can be dynamically opened and stretched to drain airflow.

Foot-adaptive Fit System is equipmented by hook and loop fastener, drawcord for easy/wide range of adjustment and dynamic fit.
DNA DOUBLE HELIX FLEXIBLE SHANK PLATFORM
DNA double helix flexible shank platform is made by CB technical Composite Board and high-resilience supercritical foam.
The Platform creates structural tension for excellent cushion and propulsion while motion.
The bionic concept is not only implemented in the DNA shoe structure and performance but also in the product life cycle assessment. We hope to create a shoe that could perform better, be easier to fit in, and also could be from cradle to cradle for the worldwide sports market.
